Bus Trasport in Rome

The Agency for Public Transport in Rome, better known as ATAC, Spa is the concessionaire of public transport in the municipality of Rome.
Actually, the ATAC deals with mobility both public and private management of parking, red light, the lanes and trams. You can visit the site www.atac.it.
To purchase tickets you can go to the tobacconist’s shops and distributors within the metro. In that case you should have the exact amount in coins.
The ticket time, valid for 75 minutes at a cost of one Euro, gives only one way trip by underground and more travel on buses until the end of 75 minutes of the first stamp.
There are three types of tickets: the daily ticket, used on Tube, urban railways, the weekly paper integrated, for metro, rail and urban bus and the BTI, integrated tourist ticket, which is valid for three days.
