Musical Instruments National Museum Rome

It is located in the square Piazza di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome, has a unique collection of musical instruments, about three thousand exemplars. Among them very famous is Barberini Harp some Benedetto Marcello’s instruments, Bartolomeo Cristofori's piano, creator of this instrument.
This museum , founded in 1964, has passed through several acquisitions the most considerable of which  has been the collection of the tenor Evangelista Gorga , in 1950.In addition, the National Museum of Musical Instruments in Rome also has sections for popular musical instruments from around the world and a large part devoted to instruments – toy.
