Central Museum of Reinassance Rome

Located inside Vittoriano monument, the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento was founded in 1906. It contains antiques and evidences of the First Word War. Inside the museum you can walk through the main stages of Italian History.
The section starting from the preparatory stages of the Risorgimento, spread the ideals of the French Revolution, to the evocation of Napoleon companies. The section devoted to the main personages of Risorgimento is very interesting, rich of paintings and documents related to Garibaldi, Mazzini and Cavour.
Also, the museum exhibits the main points of Risorgimento fightings from Restoration to 1848, the Roman Republic to Mille's enterprise, as long as Porta Pia breach. Last section is totally dedicated to the First Word War. Finally you can visit the video installation by Istituto Luce.
