Giardino degli aranci (Savello park) Rome

It is on the top of Aventino, everybody knows it as “Giardino degli Aranci”, takes an 8000 square meters surface offering a wonderful view above Rome.
Above Giardino degli Aranci from Rome is in fact possible to observe the neighbourhood of Trastevere, Isola Tiberina, the profile of the domes of the old city, the Gianicolo hill and Monte Mario. This park was realized in 1932 by Raffaele de Vico's design , the nickname “Giardino degli Aranci “ because of its many orange trees.
Over winter time it's very suggestive the view and the smell these trees offers since they get load of oranges.
