Biopark of Rome (the zoo)

It is located in Piazzale del Giardino Zoologico inside the wonderful ledge of villa Borghese. You can easily get to by tram, bus, or underground (metro A: Flaminio/Spagna).
Actually the Biopark holds more than a thousand animals of two hundred different kinds. More than 500.000 people visit the Biopark every year. Environmental education and saving animals are the main activity of this park, according to this idea they have realized: chimpanzee’s village, veterinary hospital, boom's village, bears' valley, children factory.
Also you should see reptiles' house with the permanent exposition “natural robberies”.
