Colosseum Rome

Flavio Amphitheatre (known as Colosseum all over the word) is the most emblematic symbol of the eternal city.

Realized in only eight years and finished in 80 b. C., thanks to the emperor Tito, in the site of the Domus Aurea lake. It was inaugurated with over a hundred consecutive game days.
Then, lost his original vocation, after the century VI, the Coliseum was used in various manners, being at last even used as quarry of building materials. At present the Colosseum represents one of the greater tourist attractions of Rome.
