Appia Antica Rome
Appia antica road is the most ancient consular roads in charge of connecting Rome to Brindisi it was the main port to Greece and oriental lands. Appia antica or “Regina Viarum” (queen of the roads) is the road we have more relics of. Going along the old way we can realize it was wide enough for both ways condition also with large pavements.
Walking along the original Appia Antica pathway is good to end your stay in Rome, into an incomparable historical and natural context.
