Prague Central Station
Planned by Josef Fanta in Art Nouveau style, the central station of Prague, that is found in the New City, was inaugurated in 1909. Initially its name was Franz Josef Station, then it was renamed Wilson Station, and now it is simply known as Central Station. Its inside, such as the dome shaped entrance hall, the statues , and the elements in metal, represent a precious work of czech architecture. From the station with the various lines of the subway, trams and buses, it is easy to reach the main sites of interest of the city, such as, Venceslao Square, the Prague Castle and Charles Square.
