Opera House Berlin

The Berlin Opera House, called the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, is surely unique in its genre. 
Its name comes from the street on which it is located, the Unter den Linden, found in proximity of the Babelplatz. 
Built in the XVIII century, in 1843-44 the building was restored because of a fire that had hit it, but fortunately only the interior parts were modified. 
Later on, with World War II, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden was seriously damaged because of the bombardments and it was restored by the architect Paulick around the fifties. 
Today within the Staatsoper Unter den Linden it is possible to see many stars of the classical music.
