Viktoria Park Berlin
This is the main park of the most multicultural district of the city of Berlin: the Kreuzberg district, the same in which it is possible to visit the Checkpoint Charlie and the one in which you can find the most elevated quantity of immigrants, artists and intellectuals.
It is interesting to know that it is the Viktoriapark of Berlin that gives the name to the Kreuzberg District, because of the iron cross in neoclassical style that is located on the top of a hill, created in the beginning of the XIX century by Schinkel, in memory of the victory over Napoleon.
Moreover, from the top of the hill with the cross, one can view a very nice panorama over the city of Berlin.
Lastly, within the Viktoriapark there is famous Berliner club called “Golgatha”, that is a beer-house during the day and a club at night.
