Although it not so close to the Mitte, the center of Berlin, the Botanischer Garten surely deserves to be visited,  being the most extended of the Old Continent and amongst the most famous at an international level. 
The Botanical Garden of Berlin is, in fact, a site of elevated interest for tourists. 
Situated in the Dahlem district, the Botanischer Garten, with its more than fourty three hectares of surface, hosts twenty two thousand vegetable species, a library and a museum, the Botanisches Museum. 
Moreover, the Botanischer Garten of Berlin is the center of the biggest greenhouse of the world, known as the Grobe Tropenhaus.  It is possible to reach the Botanical Garden both through the S-Bahn (S Botanischer Garten) and the U-Bahn (U Dahlem Dorf).
