Amongst the major attractions of the Museum Island of Berlin, the Pergamon Museum is also considered as one of the most relevant archeological museums of all of Germany. 
A jewel within the Mitte district, it is able to stupefy the visitors, which are almost one million a year, with the works and the reproductions in scale 1:1.  
The
Pergamon Museum is made up of three main areas: the Antikensammlung, that contains the collection of classical antiquities divided between the Pergamonmuseum and the Altes Museum;
the Vorderasiatisces museum (
Middle East Museum), and the Islamic Art Museum. 
Some of the most important attractions of the museum are the Pergamon altar, the Ishtar Gate, the Market gate of
Miletus and the facade ofr the Facade of the Throne room of Babylon, included amongst the seven wonders of the ancient world.
