Entirely dedicated to the artistic avant-gardes of the past century, the Neue Nationalgalerie, that is, the New National Gallery, is a must for a respectable trip in the city of Berlin and even more in the area of the Kulturforum.
Planned by Van der Rohe, it was opened around the end of the sixties.
The Nationalgalerie hosts many works of art that before the second world war and the Nazism, were preserved within the Alte nationalgalerie, the old national gallery of the Museuminsel.
Within the New National gallery, in the Tiergarten district of Berlin, it is possible to admire works of art, that date from the nineteenth century onwards, of artists such as Picasso, Klee, De Chirico, Dalì, and many more.
