Television Tower Berlin

A proper reference point for the Berliners is the Television tower which is visible from all the areas of Berlin both at night and during the day. 
Also called Fernsehutrm in German, the Television Tower – located in proximity of the Alexanderplatz – was built at the end of the sixties, and has been the symbol of the German Democratic republic until the fall of the Berlin Wall. 
With more than 350 meters of height, the Fernsehturm boasts the title of the highest building of the whole German capital, and from its panoramic platform it is possible to view most of the sites of interest of the city of Berlin, such as the Island of the Museums.
